AQUA-MARINE ROOM TREATMENTS

Steam rooms have been used throughout history to promote and enhance health through purification of the skin and respiratory system. Ancient, advanced cultures, such as Roman Greek, Egyptian and Asian, held beauty and health secrets only known by the privileged and very wealthy. Today, these secrets are shared and available to all. Over time, these steam rooms have been modernised to include state-of-the-art sound systems, light therapy, healing salts and crystals.

We recommend you book our steam room before any body or facial treatment to encourage and induce deep levels of relaxation throughout the entire body and to prepare, freshen and revitalise the skin to increase subsequent product absorption. A great way to escape and purify all over.

AQUA-MARINE PURIFYING STEAM ROOM*
As the body’s temperature gently rises, circulation is stimulated and the body undergoes purification and detoxification. Permanently illuminated crystals exude powerful healing qualities, while therapeutic salts clear the respiratory system to maximise the benefits of exotic aromatherapy scents. Soothing music calms the mind and completes the experience.

AQUA MARINE HYDROTHERAPY BATH*
*Please bring a swimsuit or bikini to wear during these treatments. Alternatively we can provide you with disposable underwear. Please Note: The Aqua-Marine room can only be used as part of any facial and body treatment for health and therapeutic purposes, as your body must relax after taking steam. Additonal £20.00 charge

HYDROTHERAPY – A SEASONAL GUIDE
Spring
After the winter, let hydrotherapy help you get back in to shape. It will help you fight the flab, tone up your muscles, soothe away stiffness and invigorate you. Hydrotherapy will also help you recover from the effects of increased activity brought on by warmer days and lighter evenings. Use hydrotherapy to ease back pain from gardening, muscle strains from vigorous exercise and inflammation of joints from over-use. It will also help provide relief from lumbago.
Summer
Hydrotherapy is perfect for warming up in preparation for sporting activities; maintenance of muscle tone and suppleness; and for easing bruising and sporting injuries.
Autumn
As weather turns cold and damp, hydrotherapy will help with those seasonal aches and pains, muscular rheumatism and arthritis in the joints. It will also help improve the circulation.
Winter
Hydrotherapy offers a wonderful way to relax at the end of the end of a cold grey winter’s day, as well as helping skin tone and soothing arthritic joints. After all this, remember that hydrotherapy boosts the morale and is great fun.
